  • Deer River BBQ and Brewfest

    The festival features BBQ pit teams competing for bragging rights and prize money, brew competition and demonstrations, finger licking barbecue and brew samples, beer tent, food vendors and live music. Each year the event kicks off at 3:00 pm as BBQ pit teams assemble for the barbecue competition and home-brew teams show off their prized IPAs, Stout-Porters, Lagers, and Brew choice. Mingle with champion cooks and home-brew teams, sampling sauce-smothered ‘que, home-brewers and enjoy live music.

    We have moved our location to the park behind the White Oak Inn, Deer River MN.
