Grand Rapids Fishing Report 7-29-14 by Tom Neustrom, MN Fishing Connections
With the warm weather of summer finally here it was a great week to be out fishing in the Grand Rapids Area. Spider, Bass, and Wabana lakes reported good fishing for large and small mouth bass. The northern pike fishing on Spider and Wabana lakes produced several pike over 10 pounds. The walleye fishing continues to be good on Pokegama, Trout, Bowstring. And Sand lakes. Night crawlers and rigs seem to be best along weed edges and off-shore structures. The Antique Car Show rolled into Grand Rapids with many participants from as far away as California making their way to the event. A great time was had by all and as usual Grand Rapids was a terrific host. As summer starts to wind down come to Grand Rapids and taste a bite of “Minnesota’s Nature. We live it everyday.
