Grand Rapids Fishing Report 6/18/14

HiResIMG_2860This week’s fishing report by: Tom Neustrom, MN Fishing Connections

The weather this past week has been tough on the anglers and better days are on the horizon. With higher water levels walleyes have shown up on numerous structures and there doesn’t seem to be a definite pattern. There continues to be walleyes in the shallows, but there seems to be a migration to deeper structures this past week. Leeches, crawlers on slip sinker rigs have been working on deeper structures, where a jig and shiner has also been working on deep structures and shallow. The bass fishing has been spotty with high water conditions, but that will improve soon. There isn’t a better destination for all around fishing in Minnesota than the Grand Rapids area. Come visit us, you won’t be disappointed. We are truly about “Minnesota’s Nature”.

Grand Rapids Fishing Report available each week.  Check out the Grand Rapids lakes & fishing resource page for tips from the pro’s and lake maps.
