Grand Rapids Fall Fishing Report 10-5-14 by Tom Neustrom, MN Fishing Connections
The leaves are falling and the weather of late has been outstanding for fall activities. Fall fishing has been excellent on area lakes and it’s hard to put the boat away this time of year. Walleyes on Big Cutfoot , Bowstring, and Trout Lake in Coleraine have been cooperating. The northern pike and crappie fishing continues to be good on several lakes in the Grand Rapids area and should continue to provide action for the next couple weeks. Grouse and duck hunters are seeing more birds and that should also keep improving. Grand Rapids is truly about the outdoors throughout the seasons and will continue to be a destination of travel now and in the future. Come join us and experience a taste of Northern Minnesota like no other.
