Curious Neighbor Exhibit in Grand Rapids

Curious NeighborThe Curious Neighbor…stories of the unexpected, unknown, untold, unusual and uncommon comes to Grand Rapids with an Open House on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Old Central School from 5-8pm.  Three eight week fellowships were offered to Minnesota College of Art & Design students and alumni.  The fellows chosen are: Audrey Moxley, Christina Huang, and Eric Syvertson.  Audrey is a recent Under graduate of MNCAD and Christina and Eric are Masters program students.  MacRostie Arts Center in Grand Rapids is the host community partner.  This fellowship and exhibit was funded by Bush Foundation and Smaby Family Foundation.

Curious Neighbor Exhibit 3

The Curious Neighbor Exhibit will celebrate an Open House Ceremony on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Old Central School.  The community is invited to view the exhibit and the fellows findings.  The exhibit provides stories and art creation & design that provides a visual perspective of each un-story.  The exhibit will be open to the public for viewing through August 6, 2013, 9am-5pm daily.  The exhibit will be closed on Sunday, August 4, 2013 and will have expanded hours on Friday, August 2, 2013 in celebration of the downtown Grand Rapids Art Walk.
