Visit Grand Rapids December e-Blast

Winter Blizzard Dumps 12+ inches of Snow
The Grand Rapids area received just over 12 inches of snow on Sunday afternoon - much to the delight of snowmobilers and skiers. As area businesses shovel out from the weekend, area trail groomers are feverishly working to get the trails packed and groomed for the upcoming weekend. The area already had about 5 inches of snow on the ground and the early winter has created excellent ice conditions on most area lakes. Icefishing, snowmobiling, and Nordic skiing conditions should be excellent from now on.
