Hunting
Widow’s
Craft
Sale:
It’s a
Big
Deal!
-
November
2007
For more
than 20
years,
the
opening
of deer
hunting
season
has
meant a
profusion
of
blaze-orange
clothing
– and
the
largest
craft
sale
event of
the
year.
This
year, on
Saturday,
November
3rd,
over 100
crafters
will set
up
booths
as
shoppers
converge
on Grand
Rapids
for a
town-wide
craft
sale and
ladies’
weekend.
In
addition
to area
wide
craft
sales
and
church
bazaars,
specialty
retailers
will be
holding
their
holiday
open
houses
with
special
sampling,
drawings,
and
bargains.
The Reif
Performing
Arts
Center
will
again
host
their
annual
Bambi on
the Hood
VII:
Southern
Fried
Chicks
– a
comedy
performance
with
ladies
in mind.
