Ruffed Grouse, the Kings of
Birds
Grouse hunters are thrilled with
the high numbers of birds in
northern Minnesota this year.
Grand Rapids is home of the RGS
National Ruffed Grouse Hunt
because of the area’s excellent
habitat for this upland game
bird. Hunters will be happy to
know that many of the area
hotels allow trained hunting
dogs during grouse season, and
some even provide on-site
storage for your game. Local
grouse hunting guides are also
available. |
