It’s true, Sugar Lake has a clarity rating of 26 feet and the locals know better then to fish it on a sunny day. Sugar Lake is a very special lake in that it is only 1 of 4 in the state that truly looks like the Caribbean. The lake is spring fed, has a sand bottom and is almost void of any weeds.
The Lake isn’t the only reason to visit Sugar Lake Lodge, but it certainly should be one of them in addition to our on-site golf course, many activities, dining and true Northern Minnesota Resort Experience.
