WinterGlo Festival Grand Rapids MNWinterGlo Festival (December 2-4, 2016)

A weekend full of events to celebrate the Holiday Season. Come to Grand Rapids to enjoy an old fashioned Holiday celebration. The event gets started downtown at Old Central School, where Santa lights the lights around the school, sleigh rides, hot chocolate, cookies and music. Saturday, December 3rd head out to the airport for the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, and then back to downtown to shop the stores and vote for your favorite window display, and then in the evening head out to the Forest History Center where Santa lights the Forest Tower with a Fireworks display after. Sunday, December 4, 2016 is Christmas in the Logging Camp. Go back in time to the early 1900’s in a Northern MN logging camp. Experience the sites, sounds and tastes of Christmas as it was in the logging camp. Horse drawn sleigh rides, kids crafts, and entertainment.

Reif Dance NutcrackerReif Dance – The Nutcracker (December 9-11, 2016)

Recreated from the classical ballet by Tchaikovsky, and performed by our superb Reif Dancers, The Nutcracker tells the enchanting story of young Clara who dreams that her nutcracker doll is transformed into a valiant prince. After defeating the evil Mouse King and his army, they are transported to the fantastical Land of Sweets where they are welcomed by a host of delectable characters. A winter holiday tradition, this performance, with its passionate music, beautiful costumes and elegant dancing, will leave your family warm with good cheer.

Rock N Roll Christmas (December 17, 2016)

Rock & Roll Xmas Show is a Vegas-caliber, multimedia performance that mixes music, comedy, parodies, and even a game show! Join an all-star cast of musicians as they rock their way through timeless holiday classics and deliver new takes on holiday hit songs. You’ll hear Christmas standards like Silent Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Rockin’ Round the Christmas Tree, The Little Drummer Boy, and many more like you’ve never heard them performed before!
