26504_107674139253280_6628893_nThere are many entertainment options in Grand Rapids during the fall time of year.  The Reif Center has weekly performances scheduled that brings in acts like the Blues Brothers, Paula Poundstone, and children’s performances like, Peter Pan.  Every weekend there is live music in Grand Rapids at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and every Wednesday live Jazz at the VFW with Sam Miltich and friends.  The First Friday’s of every month is the First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Grand Rapids sponsored by the Grand Rapids Arts.  Check out the public art walk while you are in town.  This is a self guided FREE tour that you can experience on your own time schedule.  The Forest History Center has a Saturday, Into the Woods programming from Labor Day 2013 to Memorial Day 2014.  This is educational and historical recreation in the 1900’s logging camp, on the nature trails and waterways; fun for the whole family.  The Itasca County Historical Society is a FREE museum that shows and tells the history of Itasca County.  There is much more than just nature to explore in Minnesota’s nature.
