Strap on your helmet or cap, put the top down, or roll down the windows and hit the open road for an exhilarating ride in the scenic north woods.

This day long road trip will take you east to the Range cities to Nashwauk and then north to Togo, where you will find the Togo Junction Bar.  Further north to Effie, where you must take in a piece of pie at the Effie Cafe.  In Northome you will find Judds Cafe.  Then you will make your way south to Deer River where you will want to check out the Gosh Dam Place.  You will find several gas options in Deer River as well as locally owned restaurants like the Outpost Bar & Grill.

This long day route will take you on scenic north woods byways, curvy and windy roads, mixed foliage forests, rivers and lakes. Fall is a truly stunning time of year to escape on a motor drive.  Come experience woods, water, northwoods bars, grills and restaurants and the quaint little shops that provide one of a kind souvenirs to remember your trip by.
