The Grand Rapids Farmers Market has opened officially for the season in downtown Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Farmers Market, Market Manager, Kent Lorentzen, shared, “right now there are only a few of us that have product to sell, but as we get later in the season we will have more vendors that will have everything from greens to open range chickens”.
The Grand Rapids Farmers’ Market is located across from the Old Central School in downtown Grand Rapids. The Farmers Market is open May 1 to end of October. You will be surprised and excited, after a long winter the have the opportunitu to cook with and enjoy fresh local produce. The Market accepts credit, debit and EBT cards, with help from Grand Rapids State Bank. Check out the local farmers at the Grand Rapids Farmers’ Market every Wednesday and Saturday from 8am-1pm.
